David Ellis, also known as (EWRKS) is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist creating within the intersection of race, sex, and gender. Ellis tends to lean heavily into abstract surrealism, with work centered in exploring The beauty of all that is mundane while simultaneously exploring blackness in its full spectrum. A graduate of Chicago State University, Flynn has been part of the activist and artist community for years, using his art and voice as a means to challenge and question the world around him.
